Text Style
Layer styles made for text, that follow text animators.
This animation is a single text layer with OH_Text Style on it. The gradient fill, the double white-and-blue stroke and the shadow all come from one effect — no precomposing, no duplicate layers. When a text animator moves the characters, the style follows them.
A full set of layer styles for text. Per-character gradients, highlights, and patterns (halftone dots, stars, hearts, stripes, and more printed inside the characters, which can be wiped away from 1 to 5 directions like a halftone wipe), up to 4 strokes, drop shadow and long shadow, outer and inner glow, bevel, and inner shadow. Per-character textures stick to the characters, so they follow along when text animators move, rotate, or scale them (Lock Texture). Overlapping characters stack front to back, each keeping its own strokes and shadows (Overlap: Stack), and with the layer's motion blur ON everything drawn blurs together with the text. Nothing is ON to begin with; only what you check gets drawn.

Tips
- If you're moving characters individually with text animators, leave Lock Texture at At Last Frame. Gradients and halftone dots stay stuck to the characters and move with them.
- For the classic white-plus-black edge, set Stroke 1 to white and Stroke 2 to black. Set the Drop Shadow's Shadow Position to After Stroke 2 and the shadow falls outside the edges.
- Keyframe Pattern Fade from 0% to 100% and the halftone dots inside the characters wipe away like a halftone wipe.
- If the layer's Scale is not 100% and the widths don't come out at the numbers you set, turn Scale with Text OFF.
